2012: NE-10 All-Rookie Team. Appeared in 16 games for Stonehill - three starts - tossing one complete game, earning two combined shutouts and recording two saves in 51.1 innings pitched. Compiled a 2.10 earned run average, gave up 54 hits, 17 runs (12 earned), seven walks and 46 strikeouts. Notched the highest strikeout-to-walk ratio at 6.6 per nine innings pitched. Only pitcher on the staff to have a strikeout-to-walk ratio higher thatn 4:1. Held opponents to a .261 batting average. Left-handed batters only hit .176 against him on the season (6-for-34). Averaged eight strikeouts per game. Posted a 12.10 groundballs per game ratio to a 5.96 flyout per gam ratio. Retired 50% of the inherited runners he faced on the season (5-for-10). Strung together a 6.1 innings scoreless streak to start his collegiate career yielding just six hits during that span and no walks. He also struck out six hitters during that stretch which spanned from February 24 to March 13. Made his collegiate debut on February 24 against Felician in game one of a twinbill pitching 2.1 innings, allowing two hits, no walks and two punchouts. Stonehill went 9-7 overall when he appeared in a contest. From March 29 to April 9 (three appearances) he did not allow a run in 10.2-straight innings. Gave up just seven hits, one walk and struck out nine batters during that span. Went 15-straight appearances without giving up a home run. Made 11 appearances out of the bullpen of two innings or more. Duff Earns NE-10 All-Rookie Team Honors.

Personal: Born on November 15, 1993 in Garden City, N.Y. Son of Diane and Steve Duff of Garden City, N.Y. Has one brother, Billy (10), and two sisters Amy (19) and Casey (16).
