WALTHAM, Mass.-- Junior Stefano Foggi (Evanston, Ill.) rapped out three hits, including a solo home run, and drove in three runs to back a complete-game effort on the mound by senior David Nathanson (Maitland, Fla.) as Rollins posted a 6-0 non-league college baseball victory over Stonehill Wednesday afternoon at Bentley's DeFelice Field.

The Tars (26-29) plated single runs in all but the first and third innings of play, an RBI single by sophomore Ryan Maddern (New Milford, Conn.) gave Rollins the only tally it would need in the contest. Foggi belted his fourth home run of the season in the fourth and rapped out an RBI single in the fifth to extend the lead to 3-0, and after run-scoring singles off the bats of junior Corey Whiting (Winter Park, Fla.) in the sixth and freshman Ryan Luker (St. Petersburg, Fla.) in the seventh, Foggi drew a bases loaded walk in the eighth to close out the Tars scoring for the afternoon.

Luker added a pair of hits as a part of a 10-hit attack for Rollins, as Nathanson scattered seven hits and struck out 11 to improve to 9-3 on the season for the Tars. Senior Adam Pardo (Hanover, Mass.) closed out his career with a pair of hits in the season-ending setback for the Skyhawks, who end the year at 21-24 overall, as sophomore Justin Perry (Wilbraham, Mass.) allowed two runs and struck out four in 3 2/3 innings of work on the mound for Stonehill, which also received a single at the plate and four innings of relief work on the mound from senior Matt Vaughn (Bow, N.H.).

Rollins closes out its Northern swing on Thursday afternoon by taking on Bentley in a non-league contest at DeFelice Field beginning at 3:00 p.m.
