RINDGE, N.H.-- Senior Kim Hart (Gorham, Maine) rapped out a pair of hits and drove in three runs to lead 15th-ranked Franklin Pierce to a 10-7 Northeast-10 Conference baseball victory over Stonehill Tuesday afternoon at Dr. Pappas Field.

A game that featured at least one run in every inning saw the host Ravens (35-6, 20-2 Northeast-10) spot the visiting Skyhawks (15-21-1, 7-15-1 Northeast-10) an early 2-0 lead, as an RBI double by senior Max Vigliotti (Stamford, Conn.) followed by a run-scoring single off the bat of sophomore Nate Weber (Hanson, Mass.) staked Stonehill to the early edge. Hart's two run single, followed by a steal of home by junior Kevin Renaud (Southbridge, Mass.), capped a three-run Franklin Pierce outburst in the bottom of the first, and the Ravens added two more in the second on an RBI triple by senior Cory Shepherd (Worcester, Mass.) and a Renaud sacrifice fly while tacking on a single tally in the third on an RBI double by freshman Kevin Rivers (Bristol, Conn.).

The Skyhawks closed back to within two at 6-4 in the fourth on an RBI single by senior Tom Aldrich (New Canaan, Conn.) and an RBI groundout by senior Adam Pardo (Hanover, Mass.), and the two teams traded runs in the fifth and sixth, with Franklin Pierce scoring in the bottom of the fifth on a Hart RBI single and Stonehill countering in the sixth on Pardo's RBI single. The Ravens extended their lead to 10-5 with three runs in the seventh on RBI singles by Shepherd and junior Tyler Bishop (Milford, N.H.) that followed an RBI triple off the bat of sophomore Cliff Hicks (Merrimack, N.H.), and the Skyhawks closed out the scoring with single runs in the eighth on Aldrich's RBI double and in the ninth on Weber's run-scoring groundout.

Hart, Rivers, Hicks, Bishop, Shepherd and senior Jake Christman (Newton, Mass.) each had two hits as part of a 15-hit attack in the win for Franklin Pierce, as senior Clay Jenkins (Easton, N.H.) picked up his fourth win in five decisions in relief for the Ravens. Aldrich went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI in the setback for Stonehill, which also received two hits from Pardo as part of a 10-hit attack. Senior Chris Herrmann (Chelmsford, Mass.) fanned six over 6 2/3 innings of work in taking the setback on the mound for the Skyhawks.

Stonehill and Franklin Pierce will close out their two-game Northeast-10 set on Thursday afternoon at Gorman Field beginning at 3:30 p.m., as the Ravens will first head to Springfield, Mass. on Wednesday afternoon for a Northeast-10 outing with American International that also begins at 3:30 p.m.
