Easton, Mass.-- Two members of the Stonehill baseball team have earned spots on the 2007 Northeast-10 all-conference squad for their efforts during this past season, as seniors Adam Pardo and Tom Aldrich were tabbed as second team all-conference performers in a vote of the league's coaches this past weekend.

Pardo, a native of Hanover, Mass. and a graduate of Hanover High School, led Head Coach Patrick Boen's Skyhawks at the plate with a .353 batting average (the highest of any Stonehill player in the wooden bat era of the Northeast-10) with eight doubles, two triples and a team-leading 31 RBI and 14 stolen bases. Pardo posted a .420 slugging percentage and a .430 on-base percentage as well for the Skyhawks while rapping out 60 hits on the spring, as he notched 22 multi-hit games in the process.

Aldrich, a native of New Canaan, Conn. and a graduate of Trinity Catholic High School, earned a spot on the all-Northeast-10 squad for the second straight season, as he collected third team all-league honors as a junior. Aldrich appeared in all 44 games as three different positions with a .242 batting average, as he recorded four doubles, one triple, 16 RBI, 11 stolen bases and a .984 fielding percentage while setting school and conference single season marks in being hit by a pitch 24 times.

Both Pardo and Aldrich excelled in the classroom as well during the season, as each were named to the 2007 Northeast-10 Baseball Academic All-Conference team in a vote of the league's sports information directors. A Political Science major at Stonehill, Pardo posted a 3.39 grade point average and also earned a spot on the 2007 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District second team squad as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Aldrich, an Economics major at Stonehill, was named last month as the 2007 Edward E. Martin Scholar-Athlete Award that is presented annually to the top male senior scholar-athlete in the senior class, as he has posted a 3.46 cumulative grade point average.

Stonehill recorded its 10th straight 20-plus win season under Boen's tutelage this spring, as the Skyhawks finished two games out of a conference playoff spot with 15 Northeast-10 triumphs.
