After posting four victories during its annual visit to the Gene Cusic Classic in Fort Myers, Fla. over Spring Break, the Skyhawk baseball team is set to open its Northeast-10 Conference slate on Tuesday afternoon as Stonehill entertains Saint Rose in a league match-up at Gorman Field beginning at 3:00 p.m. Head Coach Patrick Boen's squad will play its first game on campus in two years with the contest against the Golden Knights.

Stonehill, 4-8 overall, swept a doubleheader from C.W. Post and also notched wins over St. Thomas Aquinas and Slippery Rock during its Florida swing. A pair of seniors who hail from West Roxbury, Mass. and attended Catholic Memorial High shined for the Skyhawks on the trip, as Coley Lyons batted .548 on the week and All-America Billy Sittig, the reigning Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Year, picked up a pair of wins on the mound.

Following Tuesday's league opener, Stonehill returns to action with a three-game weekend set with American International, including a doubleheader with the Yellow Jackets on Saturday afternoon at Gorman Field.
