Matt Giusti, Stonehill (Fr., SP, Hopkinton, MA) – Fired a complete-game three-hit shutout with five strikeouts in a 5-0 win over UMass Lowell. Faced five batters over minimum in collecting victory.

Billy Sittig, Stonehill (Sr., SP, West Roxbury, MA) - Tossed complete-game six hitter and fanned seven in a 4-1 win over Southern Connecticut, allowing an unearned run.

STONEHILL: Stonehill, ranked fifth in NCAA Northeast Regional play last week, posted its highest conference regular season finish in six seasons in earning second place and a bye in the league playoffs. The Skyhawks have posted their highest overall win total in three years and highest Northeast-10 victory total in six seasons. Freshman P Matt Giusti (Hopkinton, Mass.) picked up his first collegiate shutout with a complete-game three-hit triumph over UMass Lowell that clinched second place, as Stonehill has recorded six shutouts as a staff this spring. Senior P Billy Sittig (West Roxbury, Mass.) raised his school record career strikeout mark to 285 by fanning seven in Thursday's win over Southern Connecticut.
