FORT MYERS, Fla.-- The Stonehill baseball wrapped up play at the Gene Cusic Classic on Saturday afternoon by picking up its sixth win in seven outings against NCAA Northeast Regional competition with a 20-0 non-league victory over Teikyo Post at Terry Park.

The Chieftains, who finish their Southern swing with an overall mark of 6-4, jumped out to a quick 9-0 lead in their first three at-bats and never looked back, as junior Sean Lawrence (New Rochelle, N.Y.) led the way at the plate for Stonehill with a double and two triples while driving in four runs. Senior Craig Audette (Raynham, Mass.) added a pair of hits and three RBI while scoring three times for the winners, who also received three hits off the bat of freshman David Fradette (Goffstown, N.H.) and two hits each from senior Tim Flynn (Clifton Park, N.Y.) and junior Coley Lyons (West Roxbury, Mass.) as part of a 17-hit attack.

Sophomore Nick SantaBarbara (Middleton, Mass.) combined with four relievers in picking up the shutout win on the mound for Stonehill, as he allowed three hits over five innings of work in improving to 2-0 on the season.

Stonehill is scheduled to open Northeast-10 Conference play next weekend with three contests against Assumption, with the Northern schedule set to commence next Saturday afternoon with a twinbill against the Greyhounds beginning at Noon.
