Student Employment Opportunities

  

Front Desk Attendant

• Welcome all sports complex users and guests 
• Count of all people entering facility and recording of data 
• General knowledge of all programs in the athletic department (schedule for athletic and rec programming, field assignments and room assignments for programming). 
• Group Exercise class registration
• Other tasks as needed

Fitness Floor Attendant

• Answering general questions about fitness floor
• Count of users in fitness area and recording of data
• Enforcement of fitness area policies
• Reporting of any equipment issues in a timely manner
• Cleaning of equipment and area
• Racking of weights, tiding up equipment in multi-purpose room
• Other tasks as needed

• Game management for intramural events
• Providing a safe, fun and competitive environment for all Stonehill students
• Comprehensive understanding of specific sport rules and department rules for participants
• Game set up as needed

• Handles all nightly paperwork for intramural games (participant sign in, game sheets and employee paperwork)
• Game set up as needed
• General understanding of all sport rules and expectations
• Social media/data entry if needed

Group Exercise Instructor

• Lead classes in a positive, upbeat manner for all participants
• Provide modifications for participants that need them
• Demonstrate techniques in a safe and effective manner
• Class participant count sheets for every class
• Allow for feedback from participants

 

Game/Event Management Staff

• Assist with field set up if needed by club/team
• Contact for event trainer – responsible for bringing ice, AED and other items as needed
• Takes pictures/videos of each event
• Opens and locks building or facility if used by club/team
• Knowledge of sound systems and scoreboards
• Ability to work nights and weekends
