Night of fun activities, contests and giveaways surround introduction of 2012-13 men’s and women’s basketball teams, with participation by ice hockey and men’s and women’s track and field programs as well

EASTON, Mass. (October 22, 2012) – Stonehill College will host “Midnight Madness” activities on Thursday, October 25, in Merkert Gymnasium starting at 10 p.m. The action-packed event will be centered around the introduction of the 2012-13 Stonehill men’s and women’s basketball teams. The Stonehill ice hockey and men’s and women’s track and field teams will also be active participants.

Activities include performances by the Stonehill Dance Team and Cheerleaders as well as Ruckus. Fan interaction includes a frozen t-shirt contest, Skyhawk Shootout, “So You Think You Can Dunk?," and the Superfan Contest to recognize the student who displays the most school spirit as well as the second-annual “Pie-athlon.” As always one or two surprise events always take place.

Giveaways and prizes include Midnight Madness T-Shirts, Ace’s Wingman T-Shirts, lots of gift cards and a flat screen TV.
