Midnight Madness to Hit Stonehill Thursday - Stonehill

Night of fun activities, contests and giveaways surround introduction of 2011-12 men’s and women’s basketball teams, with participation by ice hockey and men’s and women’s track and field programs as well

EASTON, Mass. (October 25, 2011) – Stonehill College will host “Midnight Madness” activities on Thursday, October 27, in Merkert Gymnasium starting at 10 p.m. The action-packed event will be centered around the introduction of the 2011-12 Stonehill men’s and women’s basketball teams. The Stonehill ice hockey and men’s and women’s track and field teams will also be active participants

Activities include performances by the Stonehill Dance Team and Cheerleaders as well as Ruckus. Fan interaction includes a frozen t-shirt contest, Skyhawk Shootout, “So You Think You Can Dunk?," and the Superfan Contest to recognize the student who displays the most school spirit. New additions to the events on Thursday include the highly anticipated “Pie-athlon” and a hockey relay race.

Giveaways and prizes include Midnight Madness T-Shirts, Ace’s Wingman T-Shirts, Stonehill cups, Dunkin’ Donuts gifts cards, Sodexo gift cards, Student Affairs event wrist bands and a flat screen TV.
