EASTON, Mass. (August 13, 2010) A total of 45 Stonehill College student-athletes have been recognized with Academic Achievement Awards from the Division II Athletic Directors Association (ADA). To earn recognition, student-athletes from Division II ADA member institutions must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, have completed at least four semesters, and have been an active member of their team during the previous academic year.

EASTON, Mass. (February 11, 2010) Stonehill College has announced its Athletic Directors Honor Roll for the Fall 2009 semester. Nearly half of all the student-athletes that currently compete for Stonehills 18 varsity programs recorded a grade-point average of 3.20 or better for the semester, with 219 students were named to the honor roll.

Highlights and stories from cross country, field hockey, soccer and volleyball will be featured in the program. Stonehills 21st annual Hall of Fame class includes Tom Graham, Class of 1962, a former baseball player for his contributions to the area community, Ken Michel, Class of 1968, a former basketball player for his contributions to the athletic department and basketball program, Peter Miller, Class of 1975, a former tennis player and longtime tennis coach, Kathy Girard-Iacovelli, Class of 1995, an All-Conference volleyball player, Tony Dello Iacono, Class of 1995, a standout football player and Allie Riccio-LaFratta, Class of 2000, an All-Conference field hockey and lacrosse player.
