On the softball field, Walsh’s teams had just as much success, posting an 82-32 record spanning four years, winning the MAIAW State Championship in 1982 and 1983, and closing out her career in the ECAC Tournament in 1985. Walsh was an outstanding contributor to this team, batting .388 with seven doubles, six triples and two home runs.
