Mark Langone graduated in 2000 and was a baseball standout. He earned Northeast-10 Player of the Year accolades during his junior season of 1999 that saw him bat .350 with 57 hits, including 14 doubles and seven homers while driving in 54 runs, and he followed that up in a record-setting 2000 campaign with a .339 batting average that featured 64 hits and 47 RBIs. On the mound, Langone was just as impressive, posting 22 career victories, including a school-record 10 wins in 2000, and he helped head coach Patrick Boen’s squad to a school-record 34 victories as a senior and Stonehill’s first ever appearance in the NCAA Northeast Regional title game.
