Ace has named senior wide receiverAndrew Jamiel (Yarmouth, Massachusetts/Dennis-Yarmouth) from the football program as the first Champions Choice Stonehill Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the 2019-20 academic year. Jamiel posted the 12th 100-yard receiving game of his career in Saturday's season-opening 33-14 win at Bloomsburg (Pa.) University as he caught nine passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns. He registered six catches for 94 yards and a score in the first half alone as Stonehill staked out a 24-7 halftime lead. Jamiel opened the scoring when he capped the opening drive of the game with an 11-yard touchdown catch and then his 22-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter gave the Skyhawks a 33-7 lead. Jamiel, also named the NE10's Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts, earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the fourth time in his career.
