Ace has named senior Jillian Caiazzi (Marlborough, Massachusetts/Marlborough), from the regionally-ranked women's track & field program, as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Caiazzi was one of three Skyhawks that competed at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday, where she finished 42nd of 197 competitors in the 800-meter run at Boston University. The senior finished fifth in her heat with a time of 2:14.51, continuing to hold the top time in the NE10 and .39 shy of the NCAA Division II provisional time. Caiazzi, who also collected NE10 Track Athlete of the Week honors this week, earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the first time in her career.

Ace has named senior Olivia Dexter (East Calais, Vermont/Union 32), from the regionally-ranked women's track & field program, as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Dexter earned her ninth-career All-New England honor at the New England Intercollegiate Indoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend with a second-place finish in the 60-meter dash in 7.69-seconds. She earned a spot in the final with the fastest times in Friday's prelims as well as the Saturday morning semifinal heats in which she broke her own school-record and improved her NCAA provisional qualifying time by clocking in at 7.63-seconds. She also posted a ninth-place finish in the 200-meter dash over the weekend in 25.33-seconds.

Ace has named juniorMadison Ward (Holliston, Massachusetts/Holliston), from the regionally-ranked women's track & field program, as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Ward helped lead the Skyhawks to a first place team finish at the Branwen Smith-King Invitational at Tufts on Saturday. She finished first in the high jump with a career best height of 5-feet, 5.75-inches, provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Pittsburg, Kansas, in March for the first time in her career. She is currently tied for 21st on the national list with her school record height, and she is second on the NE10 performance list. Ward earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the first time this year (second career).

Ace has named senior Olivia Dexter (East Calais, Vermont/Union 32), from the regionally-ranked women's track & field program, as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Dexter competed led the Skyahwks at Saturday's Sorlein Invitational at Rhode Island, as she won her second event of the season. The senior finished first in the 60-meter dash with her personal best time of 7.66-seconds. She is currently ranked 23rd on the NCAA qualifying list and second on the NE10 performance list. She also assisted the Skyhawks to a fourth-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay clocking in a time of 4:05.67, which ranks third in the NE10. Dexter earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this winter (fourth career).

Ace has named junior guard Grace Carter (Arlington, Massachusetts/Arlington), from the regionally-ranked women's basketball program, as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Carter scored 15 of her career-high 23 points in the second half to lead the Skyhawks back from a 13-point deficit early in the second half for a 62-56 victory at American International College in their lone game of the week. She finished shooting 8-of-19 from the floor, including 5-for-11 from three-point distance, while adding four rebounds, four assists and two steals. Carter earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the first time in her career.

Week Ending December 30, 2018

Ace has named junior forward Gabrielle Reuter (Plymouth, Massachusetts/Lawrence Academy), from the nationally-ranked women's basketball program, as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Reuter earned All-Tournament team honors at the Stonehill Holiday Classic as she averaged 15 points, five rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 blocked shots and a steal in a split of the 25th-ranked Skyhawks two games. She made 60-percent (15-for-25) of her shots from the field for the weekend. She scored 14 of her career-high 20 points after halftime of Sunday’s 80-75 setback to #9/16 USciences , finishing 10-for-13 from the field, to go with three rebounds (all offensive), four assists, two steals and a blocked shot. Reuter recorded ten points, seven rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots in Saturday’s 73-60 win over Molloy. Reuter earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the first time in her career.

Ace has named freshman forward Kayla Raymond (Easton, Massachusetts/Oliver Ames), from the nationally-ranked women's basketball program, as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Raymond scored 14 of her season-high matching 22 points in the first half of Sunday's 74-54 win over Caldwell in their lone game of the week. She finished 9-of-15 from the floor, including 3-for-5 from three-point distance, filling the box score with eight rebounds, a season-high four assists, season-best six blocked shots and two steals. Raymond earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season.

Ace has named senior Olivia Dexter (East Calais, Vermont/Union 32), from the regionally-ranked women's track & field program, as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Dexter led the Skyhawks at the season-opening Howlin' Husky Invitational at the Reggie Lewis Center as she won her heat in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.70-seconds. She then went on to win the 60-meter finals with a career best time of 7.66-seconds bypassing the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time in the first meet of the season and breaking the school record, which she previously set in 2017 at the NE10 Championships. Dexter earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the first time this year (third career).

Ace has named junior Anna Lastra (Bridgton, Maine/Fryeburg Academy) from the women's cross country program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Lastra led the Skyhawks to a 14th place team finish at the NCAA Division II Championships in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Sunday. She completed the six-kilometer course at the Bob O'Connor Golf Course at Schenley Park in 24:01.1 for a 64th-place individual finish out of 264 competitors. Lastra earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the third time this fall (three career).

Ace has named freshman forward Kayla Raymond (Easton, Massachusetts/Oliver Ames), from the nationally-ranked women's basketball program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Raymond averaged 21 points per game on 62.5-percent shooting (15-for-24) from the field, including 5-for-9 (55.6%) from three-point distance, in a 2-0 week for the Skyhawks against regionally-ranked teams. Made 7-of-8 (87.5%) free-throws and also contributed seven rebounds and 1.5 assists for the week. She led four Stonehill players in double-figures in Tuesday's 74-65 win at Saint Anselm, ranked sixth in the region, with 21 points on 6-of-12 shooting, including 2-for-5 from three-point range, while converting 7-of-8 free-throws, while adding a season-high nine rebounds, with two assists and blocked a shot. She posted her second-straight 20-point outing and third of the season overall in Sunday's 66-47 win at LIU Post, ranked fifth in the region, with a game-high 21 points, including 12 in the first half, on 9-of-12 shooting from the field, including 3-for-4 from three-point distance, adding five rebounds and an assist. Raymond, who also collected NE10 Rookie of the Week honors for her efforts, earns her first Ace's Athlete of the Week award.

Ace has named junior Anna Lastra (Bridgton, Maine/Fryeburg Academy), from the East Region Champion women's cross country program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Lastra led the Skyhawks to their 15th NCAA Division II East Regional Championship in program history with a second place finish overall in the field of 184 runners. She completed the six kilometer course at Bethpage State Park on Long Island in 22:17.40, seven seconds behind the individual champion, earning her second All-East Region honor, after a 13th place finish her freshman year, as the Skyhawks advance to the NCAA II Championships for the 18th-straight year. Lastra earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the second time in three weeks (second career).

Ace has named senior Rachel Scibek (Colchester, Vermont/Colchester), from the equestrian program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Scibek helped lead the Skyhawks to a high point performance at Sunday's Boston College Show at Hillside Meadows Equestrian Center in Grafton, Massachusetts. She qualified for her first IHSA Zone 1, Region 4 Championships with her second-career first-place ribbon in novice fences at the event. Scibek earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the first time.

Ace has named junior Anna Lastra (Bridgton, Maine/Fryeburg Academy) from the regionally-ranked and NE10 Champion women's cross country program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Lastra posted the program's fourth-straight individual title in leading the Skyhawks to their tenth consecutive team championship and 17th in program history overall. She completed the six-kilometer course in 21:57.4 to lead the field of 144 competitors and earn All-NE10 honors for the third time for cross country (10th overall) with her first individual championship. Lastra earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the first time in her career.

Ace has named freshman Samantha Ormesher (Toronto, Ontario/Loretto Abbey Catholic School) from the nationally-ranked and NE10 Champion women's tennis program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Ormesher earned Tournament MVP honors in leading the Skyhawks to their sixth NE10 Tournament Championship in program history, and first since 2014, by posting a combined 3-0 record in singles and doubles play over Stonehill's two NE10 Tournament matches last week. She was a double-winner in Stonehill's 4-0 win over Merrimack in the championship match, teaming up with sophomore Isabelle Porter (Jupiter, Florida/William T. Dwyer) for a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles to help clinch the doubles point in the title match. Ormesher followed that up by rallying from a 1-4 deficit in the opening set of her match at No. 3 singles for a 6-4, 6-1 truimph that put the Skyhawks first singles win on the board. She and Porter also posted a 7-5 doubles win in Friday's 4-0 semifinal win over Le Moyne. Ormesher earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the first time.

Week Ending October 21, 2018

Ace has named senior All-American Kacie Smith (Norwood, Massachusetts/Norwood) from the nationally-ranked field hockey program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Smith netted four goals in a 2-0 week for the No. 5-ranked Skyhawks. Her eight points give her 225 for her career, breaking the program and NE10 career scoring records during her two-goal outing at Saint Anselm on Wednesday night. She scored both Stonehill goals in the 2-1 comeback win in double-overtime, netting the tying goals with 4:54 remaining in regulation and then potted the winner with 1:13 remaining in the second overtime. Smith added two more goals in the Skyhawks 6-1 win at New Haven. Smith, who was also named the NE10 Player of the Week for her efforts, earns Ace's Athlete of the Week for the third time this season (fifth career).

Ace has named junior goalkeeper Kaitlin Brown (Walpole, Massachusetts/Walpole) from the regionally-ranked women's soccer program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Brown recorded her seventh and eighth career shutouts this week in the Skyhawks second-straight 2-0 week. Stonehill defeated Merrimack , 3-0, and topped Adelphi 1-0 in overtime for their fourth-straight win. Brown totaled six saves against the Warriors and seven against the Panthers. She gave up no goals this week, moving her up to 10th in the NE10 with 1.35 goals against average and third in saves with 71. Brown, who also earned NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week honors for her efforts, is named Ace's Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.

Ace has named freshman Emma Beaulieu (Longmeadow, Massachusetts/Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School) from the women's golf program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Beaulieu is the first women's golfer to ever earn the weekly recognition after posting her first career top five finish to lead the Skyhawks to a fourth place team finish at the Penmen Columbus Day Invitational over the weekend. She posted a program-best two day score of 153 (+9) to finish in fifth place in the field of 33 golfers, including a program-low opening round score of two-over-par 74 on Saturday. She carded a program-best three birdies in her Saturday round, finishing with a two-day total of four to match the program mark. Beaulieu finished the two-day event tied for first in par-4 scoring at 4.17 (+4), while finishing tied for second for birdies (four) and sixth in pars with a program-record 21.

Ace has named sophomore Isabelle Porter (Jupiter, Florida/William T. Dwyer) from the nationally-ranked women's tennis program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Porter posted a combined 6-0 record in singles and doubles play in a 3-0 week for the No. 42-ranked Skyhawks. She won all three of her matches at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles. Porter teamed up with classmate Bethany Hammond (Belgrade, Maine/St. Dominic Academy) to drop just two games over three wins at No. 1 doubles in victories over Franklin Pierce (6-2), Saint Anselm (6-0) and Bentley (6-0). Porter also swept her three singles matches, rallying from a 2-4 deficit in the first set against Franklin Pierce's Alana Wyatt for a 6-4, 6-1 win. Porter also defeated Tess Malerbi from Saint Anselm 6-0, 6-2 and then Bentley's Hannah Fabianski 6-3, 6-4. Porter earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the first time this year (second career).

Week Ending September 23, 2018

For the second-straight week, Ace has named senior All-American Kacie Smith (Norwood, Massachusetts/Norwood) from the nationally-ranked field hockey program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Smith scored both goals as the #2 Skyhawks rallied for a 2-1 triumph at #8 Assumption to open its NE10 slate in its lone game of the week. Her opening goal 5:26 into the second half answered a first half Greyhounds goal and also marked the 200th point of her career as she becomes just the second Stonehill field hockey player, the fourth in NE10 and history and sixth all-time in NCAA Division II history to reach the milestone. Her second goal at 55:50 lifted the Skyhawks to victory to avenge its lone loss of the year to Assumption earlier this season. Smith, who also garnered NE10 Player of the Week honors for the second-straight week and third time this season, earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the second-straight week and fourth time in her career.

Ace has named senior All-American Kacie Smith (Norwood, Massachusetts/Norwood) from the nationally-ranked field hockey program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Smith led the No. 2-ranked Skyhawks to a 9-0 win over St. Thomas Aquinas in their lone game of the week with nine points on four goals and an assist. Her four goals matched her career-high for the third time as she scored the first three goals of the game to help Stonehill stake out a 4-0 lead at the half and didn't look back. Each of her first three goals came within the opening 20-minutes of the game. Smith, who also collected NE10 Player of the Week honors, earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the first time this season and third time in her career.

Ace has named junior goalkeeper Kaitlin Brown (Walpole, Massachusetts/Walpole) from the women's soccer program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Brown keyed a 2-0 week for the Skyhawks and her third and fourth shutouts of the season, for the team's best start since 2016. Stonehill defeated Molloy College 1-0, and shutout its first NE10 opponent in Saint Rose 2-0. Brown notched eight saves over the week, notching a pair of stops in the Skyhawks 1-0 rain-shortened win over Molloy and adding six more against a Saint Rose team that came in averaging three goals per match on Saturday. Brown, who also earned NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week honors for her efforts, earns Ace's Athlete of the Week accolades for the first time in her career.

Ace has named junior midfielder Elizabeth Nerger (Marshfield, Massachusetts/Marshfield) from the women's soccer program as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Nerger led the Skyhawks to a pair of season-opening wins as she had a hand in five of their eight goals scored for the weekend, with two goals and three assists for seven points. She dished out a pair of assists in Stonehill's 5-0 win over Nyack on day one of the NE10/ECC Crossover Cup at NYIT. Nerger followed that up by figuring in each of the Skyhawks three goals in Saturday's 3-0 win over host NYIT, with two goals and an assists. Nerger earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the first time in her career.

Week Ending August 26, 2018

For the second-straight year, a volleyball freshman has earned opening week honors with Ace selecting setter Lauren Wilke (Blue Point, New York/Bayport-Blue Point) as the Champions Choice Stonehill Female Student-Athlete of the Week. Wilke engineered a Skyhawks offense which saw four hitters average over 2.00 kills per set as she averaged 9.70 assists per set over the first three matches of the season. She also averaged a team-high 4.10 digs per set and 0.80 blocks per set, while hitting .316 herself. Wilke opened her collegiate career with three-straight double-double performances, including 30 assists and 10 digs, with two block assists, an ace and a kill in Stonehill's 3-0 win at Southern New Hampshire on Sunday. She totaled a season-best 45 assists and 17 digs, with three block assists and three kills in the Skyhawks season-opening four-set match with Saint Anselm on Saturday. Wilke earns Ace's Athlete of the Week honors for the first time in her career.
